Enrollment Guidelines:

THE SELECTION PANEL


The selection panel shall be convened with the representation from the Academic Department & TVET Head Office for selection & where this is done by TVET, representatives from college must be present. The panel shall then issue letters of acceptance to successful applicants & organize & input data.

REGISTRATION FORM

The student must pick up the Registration Form from the Administration Office, (completed) with the students personal details, take this back to the Academic Department for endorsement & confirmation of the subjects registered for by the Department. The student now be required to take this to Registrar's office to pay the fee as the final part to complete the registration process.
Note: Non payment of course fee will result to incomplete registration process & non attendance of classes.

LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE OR CALL

The applicants will receive a Letter of Acceptance from the college with additional information before arriving at the college for registration.

NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE

Upon receipt of Call-up notice, the applicant is required to complete the notice of Acceptance form and send it immediately back to the college to confirm attendance for academic year. It is important this is done or non-receipt would result to non-attendance for the academic year. The list of accepted applicants would be made after all the Notice of Acceptances have been received.
The college shall not reserve places for applicants who have been accepted but could not attend due to personal reasons, work load or inability of the intending student to pay the fees.

PROOF OF IDENTITY

It is requirement that the students should present their original grade 10 & 12 certificates for verification during Registration. The college reserves the right to refuse registration of students who fail to comply or found to be in possession of defaced certificate. The college de-register students for presenting the fraudulent certificates, defaced Certificates or posing as another student at the time of registration inform the POLICE immediately.

MODE OF STUDY

A part-time student is recognized as such if she/he enrolls for two or less subject. However if the enrollment is for more than two subjects (50% of the course) in the same or deferent course of study, the student is no longer a part-time. The student required to pay the fee as considered appropriate by the College administration. A part-time student can not take up a subject in another course without completing the program that is yet to be completed.

RECOGNITION PRIOR LEARNING

A student must apply for a recognition, credit or exemption using appropriate forms. 
CHOOSING APPROPRIATE COURSE OF STUDY
YEAR 10 TECHNICAL TRAINING CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
The students enrolling on two years grade 10 TTC program must enroll for broad base program for two years. Any student may continue into Diploma program if his/her GPA is 2.00 and above that will qualify.

DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS STUDIES

The students who are enroll to do the diploma programs have to complete the first six (6) months of the programs. As a requirement, the student must score a GPA of 2.00 to be eligible on the course of his interest. Failure to do so would mean, taking up the studies in the next course in line with the academic results achieved else withdraw and repeat the six month of the course again.
In cases where the GPA is below 2.00 across the board, the College Academic Committee shall meet & adjust the GPA to a level where it deems appropriate to allow the students to enroll in stage 2 of the program of their choice and importantly according to the academic results. In case the students will not proceed to the next stage of studies without scoring a GPA of 2.00. The students will re-enroll after three years of relevant industrial experiences.

NATIONAL CERTIFICATES PROGRAMS (NATIONAL QUALIFICATION FRAMES)

No specific requirement for this program. As long the applicant can read and write.
